Brighton manager Fabian Hurzeler praised his side’s intensity, determination and fighting spirit after they secured a convincing 3-0 victory over Arsenal in the Premier League on Saturday.

The Seagulls dominated the champions from start to finish.

Pascal Gross opened the scoring before Charalampos Kostoulas doubled their advantage.

Chema Andres headed in Brighton’s third after the break to seal maximum points.

According To Hurzeler After The Game

Hurzeler told Sky Sports that Brighton must maintain a high intensity, win individual battles and show the belief needed to compete with the Premier League’s top sides.

“My players really trust each other on the pitch. If one player is out then another can replace him.

“Overall we wanted to be really good in every phase. We needed to be at the highest level.

“We go game by game. After the international break we have a lot of games. After wins like this we have to stay humble and understand why we had this win. We have to keep on going.”
