AFCON 2027Q: 5 Key Squad Moves as Madagascar, Guinea-Bissau Prepare for Super Eagles Clash

The Barea of Madagascar are set to unveil their squad for the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying fixture against the Super Eagles of Nigeria.

Head coach Corentin Martins is expected to include three new players in his squad, according to Midi Madagasikara.

Five players from the Malagasy League could also be included, according to the daily newspaper.

Madagascar and the Eagles Clash

The Barea will travel to Uyo for a matchday one clash against the Super Eagles on Thursday, 25 September.

Nigeria’s Super Eagles will play against the Barea on September 25, 2026, at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo for their opening 2027 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifier.
